Barbie and Ken Embark on a Real World Adventure with Flat Feet in Captivating New Trailer

Greta Gerwig's "Barbie" Film Reveals Trailer and Soundtrack Lineup

As the highly anticipated July 21 premiere of Greta Gerwig's "Barbie" draws closer, fans were treated to the release of the film's official trailer, giving a first full look at Barbie (Margot Robbie) and Ken (Ryan Gosling) venturing into the "real world." The trailer takes viewers on a whimsical journey, filled with humor and unexpected twists.

In the trailer, Barbie experiences an existential crisis, confiding in her friends about strange occurrences, such as taking a cold shower and even falling off her roof instead of floating gracefully. To add to her distress, she realizes that her iconic heels have been replaced with flat feet, much to the astonishment of her fellow Barbies.

Seeking answers, Barbie visits the enigmatic character played by Kate McKinnon, known as "Weird Barbie," who encourages her to explore the "real world" for a solution. Barbie faces skepticism from humans, like Gloria (played by America Ferrera), who find it impossible to imagine Barbie existing outside her fantasy realm.

Accompanied by the uplifting tune of Cass Elliots' "Make Your Own Kind of Music," the trailer showcases snippets of Barbie's adventures in the real world, including her arrest, Ken attempting an appendectomy on a human, and her evading the relentless pursuit of the villainous Mattel CEO (portrayed by Will Farrell) who wants to confine her "back in a box."

In addition to the trailer release, the film's official soundtrack lineup was unveiled, featuring a diverse array of artists such as Dua Lipa, Lizzo, Haim, Tame Impala, Nicki Minaj, and even Ryan Gosling, one of the movie's stars. Notably, the soundtrack is helmed by renowned producer and DJ Mark Ronson, serving as the Executive Music Producer.

"Barbie" is set to make its theatrical debut on July 21, promising an imaginative and entertaining experience for audiences eager to join Barbie and Ken on their escapades in the real world.
